THE WILD VINE

I created my estate “La Vigne Sauvage” in 2018, which is located in Haute Savoie, on the slopes of Lake Geneva, near Thonon les Bains.
I own 2.75 ha of Chasselas and 0.2 ha of Gamay which are divided between the appellations of Marin and Marignan and Crépy.
I produce approximately 7500 bottles per year of Vin de France.
The vines are cultivated using organic and biodynamic farming methods.
I strive to work in the vineyard as healthily as possible. I apply two 500P treatments per year and five to six 501 treatments per year (biodynamic preparations), and with each treatment, I combine it with an herbal tea or decoction to reduce the doses of copper and sulfur. All vineyard work is done manually; I don't own a tractor or straddle tractor in order to preserve the soil.
In the cellar, the wines are left untouched until they are racked a good month before bottling. There is no fining or filtration, and the wines contain no added sulfites. They are aged for between eleven and fifteen months, depending on the vintage.
Most of the cellar work is also done manually. Destemming is done manually, pressing is done in an American press, and bottling is done with a spout filler and a mechanical corker.

Here are my currently available wines:
"Chass'Nat' 2024", Pet Nat made from Chasselas grapes from Marin. Direct pressing followed by fourteen months on lees before disgorging. Disgorged by hand at the end of November 2025.
"L'Insouciance 2024", Chasselas from Crépy, pressed after five days of maceration. Eleven months of aging in fiberglass tanks. Bottled in early August 2025.
“La Sauvageonne 2022”, Chasselas from Marignan, pressed after five days of maceration. Aged for thirteen months in fiberglass tanks. Bottled at the end of October 2023.
"En Vrille 2022" is a vat of L'Insouciance that hadn't finished fermenting. During the 2023 harvest, I added pomace for about ten days to restart fermentation. Aged for fifteen months in fiberglass tanks. Bottled in January 2024.
"En Vrille 2023" is a Chardonnay from the Jura region that macerated with Chasselas marc for two weeks. It was aged for thirteen months in oak barrels and bottled at the end of October 2024.
"Pulsion Sauvage 2023", Chasselas from Marin, skin-contact maceration. One month of maceration and twelve months of aging in barrels. Bottled at the end of October 2024.
“Les Sauvageons 2024”, Gamay from Marin. One month of maceration and eleven months of aging in barrel. Bottled in early August 2025.
“Mon Côté Pink 2024”, Gamay from Marin. Two days of maceration and eleven months of aging in fiberglass tanks. Bottled in early August 2025.

In my work, I strive to work as cleanly as possible in order to obtain natural wines in the truest sense of the word, without unnecessary inputs or manipulations.

Label & Natural Wines

Some labels can help us identify a natural wine. The AB label, for example, certifies organic farming. The Demeter label, for its part, guarantees biodynamics. There is also the 'Vin Méthode Nature' label, as well as 'Nature et Progrès', 'Les Vins SAINS', and many others.

Some estates choose to adhere to a single label, or even not to be labeled at all, even though their cultivation and winemaking method would allow it. In other words, there is no strict rule. It all depends on the winemaker's vision, his desires, and his convictions.

For us, it is important to meet all the people we work with in order to understand their working method and select the products that match our ideology.

Natural wine

At Terra Vinea, we are deeply passionate about natural wine. We love the emotions it arouses, the surprises a bottle can give us, the memories wine gives us. We also find it important to consume a product grown and vinified with respect for the fauna and flora, preserving all the life around and in it. These convictions are part of us, and we are proud to represent these women and men who put their heart and soul into offering us these living wines.
